Details: X: The Movie is considered CLAMPs first attempt at an animated version of X, based on their popular manga series. While it may not be as controversial as Evangelion in terms of ending, it’s more talked about in terms of it’s character development and the way the plot is played through. Because it’s a movie, not every character gets to have some development. The story mostly focuses on Kamui, Fuma, and Kotori, and the tragedy that will soon play a major roll in the movie. The story is mostly one sided, as it’s mostly viewed from the Dragens Of Heaven, but we do get some view on the Dragens Of Earth. The movie actually makes you feel for the characters, even if they don’t get alot of development, which the series(Also from CLAMP, a remake of the movie), makes up for. I felt like I wanted to cry at a scene or two, it was very touching.
